Braden Pape was back on College GameDay and we’re all better for it. Pape, who made his name on GameDay by singing Comin’ to your Citay and is a huge Oregon fan, joined the crew on set in Eugene again this year, and it was just as amazing as always. It was wonderful and Lee Corso decided to go off the script with it., as he always seems to do
Lee Corso: ‘Not so fast midget’
Lee Corso broke out “Not so fast, midget” and it was ... something
Corso broke out his signature “Not so fast” line on Pape -- many times, actually -- but added a twist to it. You see, Pape is a young man, and he’s still growing. So of course Corso called him a midget when he disagreed with his pick. It was kind of “grandpa and grandson” moment, a little bit awkward and one of those moments where GameDay just ... stops
Probably the best picker ever. He’s even better than Ryan Lochte, who still thinks Auburn is going to win, even if Auburn isn’t playing.
You’re the best, Braden. Always and forever.
