Georgia Southern tied the game 7-7 with 11:53 remaining in the second quarter but Georgia answered with 31 consecutive points to secure the win and extend its winning streak to five games.
Chris Conley led Georgia with four receptions for 76 yards and two touchdowns. Eight different receivers had a reception in the game for the Bulldogs.
Todd Gurley led the Bulldogs' rushing attack with 15 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown.
The Bulldogs will play Georgia Tech next week and have already clinched a spot in the conference championship game.
