Just minutes after taking a surprising 14-point lead, the Baylor Bears have taken a commanding 28-7 lead over No. 1 Kansas State with just over two minutes remaining in the first half.
Kansas State vs. Baylor score update: Bears take commanding 28-7 lead
Following Nick Florence's 22-yard touchdown pass to Terrance Williams to give Baylor a 21-7 lead, Collin Klein and the Kansas State offense failed to move the ball once more and turned the ball over after a quick three-and-out.
The Bears took quick advantage, overcoming an offensive pass interference penalty thanks to a strong rushing attack by Lache Seastrunk to move the ball deep within Wildcats territory. Seastrunk carried the ball five times for 57 yards on the drive, turning the rushing duties over to Glasco Martin in the red zone. Martin's 2-yard rushing touchdown gave the Bears a 28-7 lead, stunning the top team in the country.
Klein is just 8-of-13 for 90 yards, with the Kansas State offense being held to just 137 total yards in the first half.
