Stanford vs. Oregon score update: Ducks and Cardinal tied, 14-14

No. 13 Stanford finally took advantage of a long drive on offense, tying No. 3 Oregon late in the fourth quarter on a controversial touchdown catch in the final minutes of regulation.

Trailing 14-7 in the final quarter, Stanford had moved the ball to the Oregon 26-yard line thanks to a strong running attack, yet Jordan Williamson's 43-yard field goal attempt sailed wide and turned the ball over the the Ducks. Oregon failed to take advantage and quickly gave the ball back just five plays later, forced to punt following Trent Murphy's sack of quarterback Marcus Mariota.

Stanford shifted gears on the next drive, changing from a ground attack to a balanced drive to once again quickly move the ball to deep within Oregon territory. Kevin Hogan's 10-yard touchdown pass to Zach Ertz appeared to tie the game but was ruled incomplete, yet replays showed that Ertz may have come down in bounds when his shoulder hit the ground first.

An official review overturned the ruling on the field, tying the game at 14-14 with just over a minute remaining in regulation.
