The newest Harris Poll is out and, as with the other college football polls, plenty of change occurred at the top due to losses by the Oregon Ducks and Kansas St. Wildcats on Saturday.

The new No. 1 in the Harris Poll are the Notre Dame Fighting Irish with 107 first place votes. The Fighting Irish were No. 3 last week. They are followed by the Alabama Crimson Tide at No. 2 with the remaining eight first-place votes. The Georgia Bulldogs come in at No. 3, two spots up from last week and the Ducks and Florida Gators finish up the top five.

Kansas State dropped from No. 2 to No. 7 after losing to the Baylor Bears, 52-24, on Saturday.

The USC Trojans, fell completely out of the rankings for the first time this season after losing to the UCLA Bruins, 38-28, on Saturday.

The Harris Poll is part of the computer configuration for the BCS standings.
