Jon Embree’s struggling Buffaloes will try to turn things around on Saturday against the No. 14 Stanford Cardinal.

Stanford held on for a seven-point win over Washington State in Week 9, and is now just one game back of the undefeated Oregon Ducks in the conference standings. Head coach David Shaw continues to feature senior tailback Stepfan Taylor as the workhorse of his offense, as the 5'11 senior has already reached the 100-yard rushing mark on five occasions this season.
Following a disheartening 70-14 loss to USC over the weekend, the Buffaloes will enter in desperate search of their second win of the year. Along with a middling rushing attack that ranks just 110th in the country at 114.1 yards per game, Colorado’s defense has managed to give up 50 or more points in three consecutive games against league opponents.
