Silly Dawgs commit late hit that leads to a touchdown

Georgia, you can’t do that.

Things have been up and down for Georgia this season, like most seasons. Coming off a huge win over Florida last week, many Bulldogs fans worried about a letdown against Ole Miss. That’s just what happens when your fan base has been used and abused for years.

So it was mostly forlorn and a little macabre to see the Dawgs down 10-0 early in the second quarter, especially when seven of those 10 points came directly as a result of an avoidable late hit penalty.

Luckily, it’s still early. And it’s still Ole Miss. So, Georgia answered right back with a touchdown of its own, cutting the deficit to three. If the defense can keep its head on straight and Aaron Murray can take advantage of gaps in the Rebels secondary, the Dawgs could make it out alive.
