The C-USA is a magical place where dreams come true and football goes to die. It’s the social experiment of if MACtion™ and #goacc had a child and then that child grew up in a locked room then was somehow expected to be an adult when it turned 18.
Totally C-USA thing happened in UCF vs. Tulsa
Tulsa got a return touchdown on a ball that looked like it was going to be downed, but naturally missed the go-ahead XP.
Sure, it’s good for some laughs and enjoyable moments every now and then, but it’s always one second away from completely snapping and also it is sad.
Tulsa was returning a punt. That is a football play. UCF was going to down it, but didn’t. Then Trey Watts decided to pick it up and go. While UCF was just kind of picking dandelions, Watts took it to the house. And the Golden Hurricane had a chance to take the lead, 27-26, if they could get the XP.
Naturally, it was blocked. It’s okay, though, Tulsa still won in overtime.
I love you C-USA; hopefully someday we can get you the care and attention you need to be a productive member of society. Or just wait until the Big East adopts you for good.
