Kansas State gets a pick-six but it was overturned or rather thrown away

Nigel Malone intercepted Case McCoy for what looked to be a score, but he threw it away DeSean Jackson style.

You all may remember that time DeSean Jackson threw the ball at the 1-yard-line. Okay, I will refresh your memory.

Now that we got that out of the way, let’s go. Kansas State’s Nigel Malone intercepted Case McCoy and looked like he had a pick-six, but he threw the ball backwards, presumably as a celebration. The ball landed at the one, but didn’t go out of bounds, so it was placed at the spot.

Mack Brown was not happy.

That said, Collin Klein just got a chance to pad his Heisman resumé, going in for a 1-yard score, his 21st rushing touchdown of the season. So in a way, Malone was just being a team player or something. That’s certainly one way to look at it.
