Nebraska vs. Wisconsin: Kenny Bell takes out some frustration with a punishing block

This would probably be a fine in the NFL. But this isn’t the NFL, so play on.

There haven’t been many big plays for Nebraska against Wisconsin tonight. Things have been all Badgers in the Big Ten Championship, with Wisconsin leading 49-17 early in the fourth quarter.

But at the very least, Kenny Bell was able to take out some of his frustrations -- warranted or not -- on a block after a completion over the middle that would have ended in a Nebraska touchdown had Bell not been flagged for the hit.

Nebraska would eventually score on the possession, anyway. That said, if this was an NFL game, Bell would be writing a check or counting out a couple hundred thousand pennies early next week. Instead, he’ll get a stern talking too (maybe) and have a gif to brag about to his friends tomorrow. Small consolation prize.
