2012 Heisman Trophy finalists: Collin Klein, Manti Te’o join Johnny Manziel

Hey look, official Heisman Trophy finalists are out. There are three of them, and only three. The prize is Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel’s to lose, but here’s who’s headed to New York for the December 8 trophy presentation.

Well, lots of people are headed to New York. It’s a huge city with many boroughs (not looking up how many -- four to five), whatever boroughs are. Fancy way of saying islands. Anyway, New York has a lot of airports too, and they’re all pretty busy.

Lots of people are going to New York.

But the list of college football players going to New York City on December 8 for the presentation of the 2012 Heisman Trophy is much shorter than the list of total people going to New York. That final and official list is as follows:

Johnny Manziel, Texas A&M quarterback. He will win.

Collin Klein, Kansas State quarterback. He will not win.

Manti Te’o, Notre Dame linebacker. He will not win.

Manziel is both the most exciting and most game-changing player in the country, and he and his team far exceeded even the most homerish of Aggie expectations. Our Texas A&M site, Good Bull Hunting, has repeatedly made the case in favor of their freshman quarterback -- this might be the most convincing and digestible work they’ve done on the subject.

If it doesn’t go to Manziel, it’s because old people chose not to give it to a freshman. That would be stupid.

Not really anything to discuss here. Here’s an awesome photograph of an Alabama fan. Anything to discuss here, friends?
