They trailed as late as the fourth quarter but ended up winning, 17-13. Their last matchup with the Wildcats was a 54-3 drubbing that saw quarterback Connor Shaw and running back Marcus Lattimore have fine days. Shaw threw for 311 yards and four touchdowns while Lattimore collected 102 yards on the ground.
Kentucky was lacking quarterback Maxwell Smith in their 38-0 loss to Florida. He's expected to play Saturday but it isn't clear how much he can contribute without aggravating the injury. Morgan Newton and Jalen Whitlow combined to replace Smith against Florida, together going 8-for-27 for 60 yards.
