With an unchanged top-eight in the latest USA Today Coaches' Poll, the real change is a result of the Stanford Cardinal's Thursday night loss to the Washington Huskies, which opened up some space in the top 10 for the Texas Longhorns and Notre Dame Fighting Irish, which both move up one spot.

A thrilling victory over the Oklahoma State Cowboys foretold the jump for the Longhorns, who were No. 10 last week, but find themselves just 69 points outside of the top eight this week. Notre Dame, despite the bye, climbs a spot as well, rounding out the top 10 at No. 10 in the latest iteration of the poll.

Every team continues to look up at the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide, who lead the poll for yet another week, 69 points clear of the No. 2 Oregon Ducks.

The Florida State Seminoles, which climbed past the LSU Tigers in the AP Poll, remain at No. 4, behind the No. 3 Tigers in the Coaches' Poll, but bow just 26 points short of the No. 3 spot. The Georgia Bulldogs round out the top-five at No. 5.
