After a solid first week, an awful second week, and a great third week, Week 4 did not go as well, and I treaded water in Week 5. But Week 6 was quite good, and I’m now 59-53 (53 percent, +$241). Let’s get to the wagers. For up-to-date odds information, visit OddsShark.

As usual, I will discuss the games involving ranked teams, and if you want any thoughts on any other game, head to the comments section.
- The wager on Oklahoma is a wager on the one elite unit in the game -- Oklahoma's defense -- and a wager against Mack Brown's Texas team, which continues to look incompetent.
- Penn State is a live home underdog, and I have doubts about how Michigan will handle Happy Valley for a night game. Michigan does not present the same challenges to Penn State's defense as Indiana did. A week after betting against the Nittany Lions and on the Michigan Wolverines, the roles are reversed.
- I considered betting Texas A&M on the moneyline to win outright, but wanted to find +215 or better, and could not. I also expect the game to be very high scoring.
- Utah has extra days to prepare for Stanford, was a bit unlucky last week in throwing six interceptions, and stops the run pretty well. I'll take anything over a touchdown at home.
- Wisconsin is a classic betting angle -- an unranked team favored over a ranked team. And this time, Northwestern is an underdog of 10 points! This is an automatic gambling rule.
- I like Washington's speed on defense against Oregon and think the Huskies are for real.
- Michigan State's defense is dominant, and I expect Indiana to struggle in going on the road to face the Spartans.
- Georgia is missing a lot of players on offense, but it does still have Aaron Murray, who is extremely accurate. And Missouri's offense is way better than its defense. Here's to a shootout.
As always, get the best line, and good luck.
