The Wisconsin Badgers and LSU Tigers will square off at Lambeau Field on Sept. 3, 2016, and Wisconsin's Board of Regents will meet Thursday to approve the contract between the two schools and the Green Bay Packers, per Don Walker of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

The Packers will contribute for some of the costs of holding the game and pay $3 million to Wisconsin. In exchange, Green Bay will take game revenue. Since the contest is officially considered a Big Ten home game, Wisconsin and the conference will make some TV money, too.

In addition, UW will receive two complimentary 24-person suites and receive a minimum of 40,000 tickets from the Packers. Of those 40,000, 300 complimentary tickets will be given to the players’ families; up to 475 tickets will go to the UW Band; and 7,500 tickets will be made available for sale to students at a discounted rate of at least 40% off the lowest price general-admission ticket.

After meeting Thursday, the Board is expected to approve the deal Friday, according to Walker’s report.
