Florida quarterback Tyler Murphy missed practice earlier this week after injuring his shoulder against LSU. Murphy looked good in practice Thursday and plans to play Saturday against Missouri, per Zach Abolverdi of the Gainesville Sun. Pay Dooley also reports that Murphy is hurt, but will play against Mizzou.

Murphy had a tough time against LSU’s defense last weekend. He didn’t turn the ball over, but he was 15-of-27 for just 115 yards and no touchdowns, and he lost 13 yards on the ground. All in all, Florida’s offense, which has struggled all year, wasn’t able to do much against the Bayou Bengals. The Gators gained 240 yards and managed only two field goals in a 17-6 defeat.
Murphy hasn't been a superstar this season, but he's performed admirably since taking over for the injured Jeff Driskel a few weeks ago. The junior has played in five games, completing 66.7 percent of his passes for 645 yards, five touchdowns and one interception. He's carried 34 times for 122 yards and two more scores. As the starter, Murphy is 2-1 so far this season.
In a bit of a role reversal, Florida will attempt to knock Missouri from the ranks of the unbeatens Saturday at Memorial Stadium in Columbia. The Tigers enter the game ranked No. 14 in the AP Top 25 and USA Today Coaches' Poll, but they'll be missing their standout starting quarterback, James Franklin.
