Alabama safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix reinstated after 2-game suspension

Clinton-Dix missed two games after receiving a loan from a strength coach at Alabama.

When Alabama takes the field against Arkansas this weekend, star safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix will be eligible to play after serving a two-game suspension.

Clinton-Dix was suspended on Oct. 2 for violating team rules, and it was reported just two days later that the suspension was handed down for accepting a loan from Corey Harris, an Alabama assistant strength coach.

Clinton-Dix, who is projected by some as a first-round pick in next year's NFL Draft, was on the sidelines when the Crimson Tide played Georgia State and Kentucky. Alabama surrendered just 10 points in the two games combined, and his return will only bolster Alabama's chances at a three-peat national championship as the bulk of the SEC schedule arrives.

Prior to the suspension, Clinton-Dix recorded 24 tackles in four games. He also broke up two passes against Ole Miss.

The Crimson Tide and Razorbacks are scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
