Here’s all the information you need in order to watch Saturday’s game between BYU and Houston.

Houston is, as mentioned, undefeated, and it is scoring upward of 40 points per contest. UH has built its resume around a pretty weak slate of opponents, though, making this matchup with BYU an important litmus test.
The numbers
Rankings and records: BYU is 4-2 this season, while Houston is 5-0 (2-0 in the AAC); neither team is ranked. This is the first-ever meeting between these two schools.
Vegas: BYU opened as a 9-point favorite, though the line has moved to BYU -9.5 and BYU -10, depending on the sportsbook. The over-under is hovering in the 61-63 range.
Weather: A high of 75 is expected in Houston, and there is a 50 percent chance of rain. The game is being played in Reliant Stadium, though, which has a retractable roof, so the weather may be of no consequence.
Three names to know
John O'Korn -- In addition to having an outstanding name, O'Korn is also in the midst of a fine season for Houston. He has connected on 11 touchdown passes while throwing just one interception in 145 attempts.
Taysom Hill -- Hill’s passing numbers aren’t so good -- he is completing just 47.2 percent of his throws and has five touchdown passes to go with five interceptions. But he is dangerous because of his mobility, which might be Houston’s primary concern. He leads BYU with 644 rushing yards on 90 carries.
Deontay Greenberry -- The Houston wideout is averaging 7.8 receptions per game, and he's second among all AAC players with 606 receiving yards.
Two things at stake
Is Houston a legitimate threat to win the AAC? The advanced metrics say ... no. The Cougars have built their record with a win over an FCS team and four victories over FBS teams with a combined 7-17 record. BYU represents their first chance to make a statement, and a win gets the Cougars bowl eligible as well.
BYU lost two games by a combined 10 points, and it has three-score wins over Texas and Georgia Tech on its resume. It feels like this is a team being slept on since BYU didn’t so much as receive a vote in either major poll this week. The Cougars will have their chances to get back on the national radar, though -- games against Boise State, Wisconsin and Notre Dame are still to come. First they need to take care of business against Houston.
