How to watch Oklahoma State vs. Iowa State: Preview, TV schedule, odds and more

Can the Cyclones get in the conference win column?

Oklahoma State looks to stay in the Big 12 hunt when they travel to face a hapless Iowa State team. Coverage begins at noon ET on FSN.

After an upset loss on the road to West Virginia, Oklahoma State has responded with a pair of nice conference wins over Kansas State and TCU -- both of whom are better than their records suggest. The Cowboys continue to ride an easy early conference schedule, as five of their first six Big 12 teams are against the five schools with sub-.500 Big 12 records, and will look for an easy win over a bad Iowa State squad.

The Cyclones have had a ... disappointing start to the year, with a loss to Northern Iowa opening it up and only a win against Tulsa keeping them from a winless record. Iowa State suffered a heartbreaking one-point loss to Texas with the aid of poor officiating, and have only been blown out once -- but it was a big one, losing to Baylor, 71-7.

The numbers

Rankings and records: Oklahoma State is ranked No. 19 in the BCS and the AP and No. 13 in the Coaches’ Poll. The Cowboys have a 26-18-3 lead in the all-time series and have won three of the past four games between the two schools.

Vegas: Oklahoma State is a 13-point favorite, with an over/under of 56.5 points. OddsShark has more.

Weather: Cold and cloudy -- likely in the high 30s to low 40s.

Three names to know

Tyler Johnson. The senior Cowboy defensive end has eight tackles for a loss this season and has been an explosive playmaker in opposing backfields.

J.W. Walsh. Oklahoma State's quarterback is a dual threat -- he leads the team in rushing and has 12 total touchdowns this season.

Sam Richardson. Iowa State's young quarterback has looked promising at times, pointing to a possible bowl berth for the Cyclones ... in two years. Richardson has thrown for 10 touchdowns while showing good ability on the ground, and will look to find star wideout Quenton Bundrage repeatedly in this one.

Two things at stake

There are three undefeated teams at the top of the Big 12 standings. A second conference loss for Oklahoma State would take them out of the conference running.

Iowa State needs to win five of their last six games to make a bowl. That starts now.
