How to watch Utah vs. USC: Preview, TV time, odds and more

Which team will get back on the right track?

USC and Utah look to respond from letdown losses last week when the two face off in Pac-12 competition. Television coverage begins at 4 p.m. ET on the Pac-12 Network.

The Trojans have played two games under interim coach Ed Orgeron, with wildly different results. USC won their first game over Arizona in a shootout, defeating the visiting Wildcats, 38-31. Last week against Notre Dame was a defensive slugfest, however, with the Trojans falling, 14-10.

Utah caught national attention with a win over Stanford two weeks ago, and had a chance to solidify themselves as conference contenders the next week against Arizona, a team that was previously winless in conference play. The Utes could not put it together on the road, however, as they lost to the Wildcats by a score of 35-24.

The numbers

Rankings and records: Neither team is ranked in any poll. The Trojans hold an 8-3 lead in the all-time series, and have won eight of the last nine contests between the two schools.

Vegas: USC is a 6.5-point favorite, with an over/under of 54 points. OddsShark has more.

Weather: 70s and partly cloudy.

Three names to know

Travis Wilson. Utah’s dual threat quarterback is a playmaker, but has struggled with turnovers. He has 19 total touchdowns this season but has 12 interceptions already, and will need to cut down on that against the USC secondary.

Dres Anderson. Wilson’s top target is from California, and is averaging over 20 yards per catch this season.

Tre Madden. USC’s top offensive weapon (thanks to Marqise Lee’s injuries), he’s averaging over five yards per carry and has done a nice job between the tackles.

Two things at stake

After a disappointing loss to Arizona, Utah is looking to rebound against another team near the bottom of the conference standings.

USC is undefeated in conference play under Coach O, and would like to keep it that way.

TV: 4 p.m. ET on the Pac-12 Network.
