If you love college football, Week 9 is going to suit you well. With four top-25 matchups on the slate, there will be no shortage of stuff to watch, especially at night. So crack open a couple drinks, cook up your best game day meal and get planted on the couch. This could be one of the better Saturdays of the year.

Texas Tech-Oklahoma gets us set for a couple of primetime showdowns, including Mizzou-South Carolina and Oregon-UCLA.

Week 9's big games
No. 21 South Carolina vs. No. 5 MissouriTop 3 Games:
Missouri (-2.5) vs. South Carolina, 7 p.m. ET, ESPN2
In just their second season in the SEC, Missouri can basically lock up the SEC East title with a win on Saturday night. Behind the arm of Maty Mauk and their dynamic three-headed rushing attack, the Tigers are coming off a big win over Florida in which they hung 500 yards of total offense on what some considered the best defense in the nation.
South Carolina is coming off a heartbreaking loss to Tennessee and will turn to Dylan Thompson to start at quarterback. Connor Shaw hasn't been ruled out for the game, though it doesn't seem likely that he will play unless it's absolutely necessary. Look for Mike Davis to run the ball early and often.
The key matchup to watch in this one will be Mizzou’s offensive line against South Carolina’s front-seven. The Tigers have done a great job this season keeping their quarterback upright in the pocket. If Jadeveon Clowney and USC’s defensive line can get pressure on Mauk, it could be a long day for the redshirt freshman.
Stanford (-4.5) at Oregon State, 10:30 p.m. ET, ESPN
If there’s a game to stay up late for this weekend, it’s this one. Despite not receiving much attention from the national media, this is a game with huge Pac-12 implications, especially in the North Division.
Stanford gets it done with defense. They're loaded with NFL prospects on the defensive side of the ball, and the Cardinal are coming off a big win over UCLA after slipping up against Utah. Oregon State was embarrassed in their home opener with a loss to Eastern Washington, but they've been as impressive as any team in the country since then. Sean Mannion is a darkhorse Heisman candidate and Brandin Cooks may be the best wide receiver you've never heard of.
If this game turns into a shootout, No. 6 Stanford could be on upset alert.

Texas Tech (+6.5) at Oklahoma, 3:30 p.m. ET, FOX*
No one really predicted the Red Raiders would be 7-0 and ranked No. 10 in the nation at the end of October, but here they are. With a quick-hitting offensive attack led by quarterback Davis Webb, Texas Tech will look to continue their perfect season in Norman against the Sooners.
Oklahoma, ranked 15th in the nation, has been a tough team to figure out in 2013. They appeared to be rolling but were then blown out by Texas. And despite winning by 15, OU came out flat and sloppy against a pretty bad Kansas team last weekend. Their defense remains strong, though, and a capacity crowd at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium could give the Red Raiders some issues.
The winner of this game will become the biggest challenger to Baylor to win the Big 12. A loss would hardly derail the season for either team, though it could end any chance they have at a BCS bowl in January.
