Week 7’s ESPN College GameDay heading to Seattle for Oregon-Washington
This will be the show’s first visit to Husky Stadium, but if previous trends hold true, Oregon will have the advantage.

Huskies fans should find this news delightful -- Chris Fowler, Lee Corso and company will be hosting the immensely popular pre-game show College Gameday from the University of Washington this weekend, just before the 4-1 Huskies face off against 5-0 Oregon.
This matchup has tremendous implications for the Pac-12 race, but contains an additional compelling element as well -- these two teams boast a very underrated rivalry that goes back to 1900, which Washington leads 58-42-5.
College GameDay has never visited Washington, and now would be as good a time as any -- Husky Stadium underwent a $280 million renovation last offseason.
Washington is 0-3 in Gameday appearances, all of which have been on the road:
- 1998 - loss at No. 2 Nebraska
- 2002 - loss at No. 13 Michigan
- 2003 - loss at No. 3 Ohio State
Oregon, however, has fared much better -- the Ducks have appeared on Gameday 16 times, and have a record of 10-6 in those games. They are 4-1 in road games, and 1-3 in neutral site ones.
- 1998 - road loss at No. 2 UCLA
- 2000 - home win against No. 6 UCLA
- 2007 - home loss against No. 6 California
- 2007 - home win against No. 6 Arizona State
- 2009 - home win against No. 4 USC
- 2009 - road win at Arizona
- 2010 - loss against Ohio State in Pasadena (Rose Bowl)
- 2010 - home win against No. 4 Stanford
- 2010 - road win at No. 24 USC
- 2010 - road win at Oregon State
- 2010 - loss to No. 1 Auburn in Glendale (BCSCG)
- 2011 - loss to No. 4 LSU in Arlington
- 2011 - home win against No. 18 Arizona State
- 2011 - road win at No. 3 Stanford
- 2011 - win against No. 9 Wisconsin in Pasadena (Rose Bowl)
- 2011 - home loss against No. 14 Stanford
