Florida State hosts Miami this weekend in a game between two top ten undefeated ACC opponents, but the game is by no means expected to be a close one.

The line opened with Florida State as a 21-point favorite at OddsShark.com, and that has since increased, with the Seminoles now a 22- or 21.5-point favorite, depending on the bookmaker. The over/under has held steady at 61 points.
In their last eight games at Florida State, Miami has covered the spread seven times. In their last 12 road games, the Hurricanes are 9-3 against the spread.
In their last eight games, the Seminoles are 6-2 against the spread. In the last 11 games that Florida State has been favored by more than 20 points, the game has hit the over nine times (while equaling it once).
Miami has been an underdog of more than 20 points only twice in the past 15 years, and they covered both times. Against Florida State, they have done very well against the spread, covering seven out of eight times.
By the way, the line between these two teams? It’s the highest ever between undefeated top-10 squads this late in the year, by a wide margin. The next closest was minus-12, when Texas played Oklahoma State in 2008.
