After suffering a shoulder injury in Missouri's win over Georgia on Oct. 12, Tigers quarterback James Franklin is now set to return this weekend against No. 24 Ole Miss. He's already listed atop the team's depth chart:
James Franklin to return as Mizzou QB vs. Ole Miss
Despite that, expect to see some of Maty Mauk too.

Franklin — who has thrown for 1,577 yards and 14 touchdowns this year — could not have returned at a better time, as Mizzou is in the final stages of wrapping up the SEC East, with a season ending game against No. 12 Texas A&M still ahead. With their original starting quarterback in the fold, their chances of doing that increase dramatically.
Maty Mauk played admirably in Franklin's absence, going 3-1 in four games, with his only loss in double overtime to South Carolina. The freshman from Kenton, Ohio, is completing 51.7 percent of his passes and has a 10:2 TD:INT ratio on the season.
According to comments made by head coach Gary Pinkel, Mauk will remain a part of the picture and still see time against the Rebels.
