UCLA offensive lineman Torian White was arrested early Sunday morning on suspicion of sexual assault, according to police. The police responded to a call and arrived at a residence near campus at approximately 3 a.m. PT.
UCLA OT Torian White arrested for alleged sexual assault
The sophomore offensive lineman has been suspended indefinitely from the team.

Bruins head coach Jim Mora released this statement following White’s arrest:
"We are aware of the situation involving Torian White, and we take these accusations very seriously," said UCLA football coach Jim Mora. "Torian has been suspended from the team indefinitely while the legal process and student discipline process run their course. Due to the ongoing police investigation, we are unable to discuss this matter further at this time."
No details of the alleged incident have been made public at this point. White hasn’t played in a game for UCLA since suffering a broken ankle during the first week of October. That injury required surgery and put an end to his 2013 season. Prior to that, he had served as a starting offensive tackle.
White started all 14 games for the Bruins as a redshirt freshman in 2012.
