How to watch Nevada vs. Fresno State: Preview, TV schedule, odds and more

Last weekend showed some chinks in the Fresno State armor, as the Bulldogs had to rally late to beat San Diego State. A loss of any kind would be catastrophic to Fresno State’s BCS hopes, which are admittedly still slim. They’ll host a 3-5 Nevada team that has regressed a bit under new head coach Brian Polian, who took over for Chris Ault. Still, the Pistol offense has been known to give teams trouble, and anything can happen in Mountain West madness...

Rankings and records: The Bulldogs have a 25-18-1 lead in the all-time series. They are ranked 16th in the BCS.

Vegas: Fresno State opened as a 23-point favorite, although that number is dropping. The over/under opened at 73.5.

Weather: Not likely to have any weather issues in this one. The forecast is clear and sunny in Fresno this weekend.

Derek Carr (Fresno St. quarterback) - As Carr goes, so too do the Bulldogs. It’s that simple. The Aztecs managed to slow him down for most of the game, which is more than most opponents have been able to do all season. Can Nevada pick anything up off of that tape?

For Fresno State, winning out will likely secure a BCS bid, and none of the opponents left on the schedule should prove to be too difficult -- only SJSU even has a winning record. The Bulldogs also have a one-game lead in the West division.

Nevada could get closer to a bowl with a win, although with three conference losses, winning the division is likely a lost cause.
