If Georgia were still reeling from the end of its game against Auburn last week, it would be understandable. It was the most miraculous finish we’ll see all year, and for the Bulldogs, completely heartbreaking. The Bulldogs will have to find a way to delete that debacle from their memory banks ahead of their game against Kentucky on Saturday.

Here’s everything you need to know in order to catch the game between the Wildcats and Bulldogs.

The good news for UGA, uh, relatively speaking, is that it probably can afford to come out a little sluggish and still handle this Kentucky group. The Wildcats are searching for win No. 1 in the SEC this year, and while they have been competitive on occasion, most of their league games have been decided by multiple scores.
The numbers
Rankings and records: Unranked Georgia checks in at 6-4 (4-3); the Bulldogs are third in the SEC East. Kentucky is 2-8 (0-6) and bringing up the rear in the East. Georgia owns the all-time series, 52-12-2.
Vegas: Georgia is a 23.5-point favorite.
Weather: A high in the mid-60s, with some possibility of rain.
Three names to know
Aaron Murray -- Murray's impressive career is nearing its end, and this will be the final game he plays in Athens. Given Kentucky's struggles on defense, he has a good chance to go out in style. Murray has thrown for 2,892 yards, 22 touchdowns and eight interceptions this season.
Jalen Whitlow -- Kentucky has had trouble settling on a quarterback all season, and as it turns out, there really wasn't a right answer. Whitlow has been a bit mistake-prone as a passer, but his ability to make things happen with his feet is valuable. He's tied for the team lead with 464 rushing yards.
Todd Gurley -- Gurley won’t match the numbers he produced as a freshman -- injuries have seen to that -- but he is nonetheless in the midst of a good year. He leads UGA with 704 yards rushing and seven scores on the ground.
Two things at stake
Neither team has a division title to play for at this juncture, but Georgia at least has gotten itself bowl eligible. The Bulldogs can’t do anything now but focus on a strong finish to the regular season, which might improve their bowl stock a bit.
Kentucky is guaranteed a losing season, and this is one of two chances to avoid going 0-fer in league play. New head coach Mark Stoops could use a win to hang his hat on this year, and beating Georgia certainly would qualify, especially considering that the Wildcats have lost 14 league games in a row.
