For the second year in a row, Ohio State could finish with a perfect record and not get a chance to play for the national championship. The Buckeyes have rarely been challenged in 2013, cruising past their first 10 opponents. On Saturday, they’ll be heavy favorites once again over Indiana.

The Buckeyes will be heavy favorites on Saturday as they look to improve to 11-0 and remain in the hunt for the national championship.

At this point, Urban Meyer and his boys will need some help to reach the national title game in January. Alabama or Florida State will have to lose, and even then, No. 4 Baylor could jump them in the standings given their strength of schedule advantage. After letting Illinois stick around last weekend, the Buckeyes need to blow out the Hoosiers this weekend to help swing a few more poll votes in their favor.
The numbers
Rankings and records: Ohio State has won 22 games in a row dating back to last season. At 10-0 this year, they’re in prime position to represent the conference at the Rose Bowl (if not the national championship).
Indiana comes in with a 4-6 record, and they’ve dropped five of their last seven games.
Vegas: The Buckeyes are favored by 34.5 points. The over/under is 81 points.
Weather: It’ll be a chilly day for football at the Horseshoe with temperatures in the 40s at kickoff.
Three names to know
Braxton Miller: Miller just keeps on rolling, completing 68 percent of his pass attempts. He's scored 20 total touchdowns and has thrown just three interceptions.
Carlos Hyde: Hyde is coming off an incredible performance in which he ran for 246 yards and four touchdowns. He should be in for another huge day against Indiana's front-seven.
Nate Sudfeld: If the Hoosiers are going to keep this one close, Sudfeld is going to have to play 60 minutes of mistake-free football. He's thrown for 2,281 yards and 19 touchdowns this year, though he was completely shut down last week.
Two things at stake
Ohio State doesn’t just need to win. They have to win with style if they hope to stay ahead of Baylor for the No. 3 spot in the BCS. Style points matter this time of year.
After being embarrassed by Wisconsin last week, an Indiana win would arguably be the biggest upset of the season.
