In Alabama’s final tune-up for the best Iron Bowl since at least the Cam Newton game of 2010, the Crimson Tide coasted to victory over a hopelessly overmatched Chattanooga, 49-0.

No surprises as the No. 1 Crimson Tide coasts to 11-0 in anticipation of a blockbuster Iron Bowl next week.


The Crimson Tide defense turned in a predictably brilliant performance as the Moccasins managed only 174 yards on the game and only got into scoring position twice: one on a drive that ended in an interception in Alabama territory and the other ending on a long missed field goal. It wouldn’t have mattered much either way.
