The Florida State Seminoles' suddenly embattled Heisman hopeful QB Jameis Winston was able to push aside his off-field issues for a few hours to lead FSU to an easy victory against the hapless Idaho Vandals, 80-7. It's the single largest scoring total in FSU history, topping the 77 points the Seminoles put on NC State in 1995.
Idaho vs. Florida State 2013 final score: Seminoles put up an 80-spot in romp
Florida State hits 80 points for the first time in program history as the Noles roll over Idaho.

Winston, the subject of a still-open sexual assault investigation from an alleged incident in December 2012, remains eligible with the team and threw for 225 yards and four scores in just a little more than a half of action before having a seat.
Box Score Hero: In addition to Winston's stats, Devonta Freeman had a stellar day running the ball in limited action, toting the rock 11 times for 129 yards and a score. Oh, and then there's Karlos Williams and his 10 rushes for 114 yards and two TDs.
Rankings Ramifications: Florida State will remain at No. 2. It is as simple as that.
But Did They Cover? FSU was tabbed for a 59-point win by oddsmakers. So that’s a cover.
