Jameis Winston, AJ McCarron lead shaken-up Heisman race

The two quarterbacks are also favored to square off in the national championship game.

After a chaotic 13th week of college football, the new national title and Heisman odds are out, courtesy of Bovada.

Odds to win the 2013-2014 BCS National Championship
Team Week 13 Current
Alabama 1/1 1/1
Florida State 8/5 7/5
Ohio State 10/1 6/1
Auburn 33/1 12/1
Missouri 75/1 16/1
Oklahoma State Off the Board 100/1
Oregon 20/1 Off the Board
Baylor 7/1 Off the Board

Odds to win the 2013-2014 Heisman Trophy
Player Week 13 Current
Jameis Winston 4/11 1/2
A.J. McCarron 13/2 2/1
Andre Williams Off the Board 15/1
Braxton Miller Off the Board 15/1
Derek Carr Off the Board 20/1
Johnny Manziel 5/2 20/1
Jordan Lynch Off the Board 28/1
Bryce Petty 10/1 Off the Board

In the national title race, it’s still Alabama, Florida State and everyone else. With Baylor and Oregon falling off the board, Ohio State sees their stock improve as they just need one of the top two teams to fall. Auburn and Missouri have a strong chances at taking the title if they can beat Alabama, and Oklahoma State is a longshot after dismantling Baylor.

The more interesting race comes in the Heisman, where previous contenders Bryce Petty and Marcus Mariota are no longer considered in it. Jameis Winston is a strong favorite, with possible lifetime achievement award contender A.J. McCarron right behind him. Johnny Manziel is still on the board after an awful performance against LSU, but there are four new names up there — Boston College running back Andre Williams, Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller, Fresno State quarterback Derek Carr and Northern Illinois quarterback Jordan Lynch. That means the quarterbacks of all five undefeated teams are on the board.
