Wide receiver Devin Street will not play in Pittsburgh's game against Miami on Friday afternoon, according to Panthers sideline reporter Gregg Giannotti. Street has been dealing with a nagging ankle injury that limited him against Syracuse last week; he was not able to finish that game.
Pittsburgh’s Devin Street injured, will miss Miami game
The Panthers will be without one of their leading pass catchers on Friday.

Street, who is one of the most prolific pass-catchers in Pitt history, is second on the team in 2013 with 854 yards on 51 receptions. He’s had at least 750 yards receiving in each of the last three seasons, and if he had been able to suit up against the Hurricanes, he could have set the school record for career receiving yards -- or at least gotten closer to the record. He already holds the Pitt record for career receptions.
The Panthers’ game against Miami kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
