Southern Cal outside linebacker Morgan Breslin could be out for the rest of the year, as Ryan Abraham of USCFootball.com reports:

Breslin suffered a hip injury nearly a month ago, and missed the Trojans’ game against Arizona as a result. He returned to face Notre Dame and recorded four tackles against the Irish, but the senior linebacker/defensive end has not seen the field since.
Breslin might be USC’s top defender. In five games this year, he has racked up 13 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks. Last year, as a defensive end, Breslin had 13 sacks and 19.5 tackles for loss. Ed Orgeron, who was USC’s defensive line coach before assuming the top spot in mid-September, had kind words for his injured star:

Southern Cal, already short of scholarship players due to NCAA sanctions, has been decimated by injuries throughout this season. Halfback Tre Madden, tight end Randall Telfer, and cornerback Anthony Brown have been ruled out for this weekend's game with Cal. Offensive tackle Kevin Graf is questionable for Saturday. Other key players, such as wide receiver Marqise Lee, have also missed significant time.
