Glasco Martin, Lache Seastrunk injuries: Baylor halfback duo injured in first half against Oklahoma

Both Martin and Seastrunk are on the sideline and dressed, but Shock Linwood has taken over.

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Baylor running backs Glasco Martin IV and Lache Seastrunk each suffered an injury in the first half of the Bears' Thursday night game against Oklahoma. While neither injury is considered serious, and Seastrunk is apparently ready to play, neither player has reentered the game.

Martin suffered an apparent right leg injury in the first quarter. Fox Sports One, which is broadcasting the game, reported that he returned to the locker room for examination of his right knee. Martin is still dressed, but his status for the rest of the night is questionable:

Seastrunk left the game in the second quarter after an interior run. What initially looked like a right ankle injury looked on replay to be a hit to the groin. Seastrunk left the game under his own power, and a Fox Sports sideline report indicated he was ready to play.

Baylor’s third-string running back, freshman Shock Linwood, ran seven times for 39 yards in the first half. His success could be the reason for the continued absence of Martin and Seastrunk.

UPDATE: Looks like Glasco Martin is done for the night.

Seastrunk walked out with the offense for the first series of the second half, then was recalled to the sideline.
