Are the Demon Deacons the one to get in the way of the unstoppable Seminoles?

The Seminoles have won all eight of their games this season by an average margin of 38 points, and have faced three ranked and undefeated opponents. They defeated previously No. 25 Maryland 63-0, former No. 3 Clemson 51-14 (on the road), and last week’s No. 7 Miami 41-14.
Their prey this week is Wake Forest, fresh off a 13-0 loss to lowly Syracuse. Wake sports wins over NC State and Maryland, but have bad losses to Louisiana-Monroe and the aforementioned Orange. The Demon Deacons have an anemic offense, averaging just 19.4 points per game, but have a stout defense, giving up just 19.9.
The numbers
Rankings and records: Florida State is No. 2 in the most recent BCS rankings. The Seminoles are 8-0, with a 6-0 ACC record (first in the Atlantic). The Demon Deacons are 4-5, with a 2-4 conference record (fifth in the Atlantic). Florida State holds a 24-6-1 lead in the all-time series, and have won three of the last four games between the two schools.
Vegas: Florida State is a 35-point favorite.
Weather: High 50s and mostly sunny.
Three names to know
Jameis Winston (FSU). Heard of him? The freshman quarterback has 24 touchdowns against six interceptions, and is one of the leading Heisman contenders in the nation. He is the focus of attention for Wake's fans, for obvious reasons.
Karlos Williams (FSU). The Seminoles have three insanely good running backs, and the converted defensive back might be the best of them. Williams is averaging a touchdown per every seven carries and more than eight yards per rush.
Nikita Whitlock (Wake). The diminutive nose tackle is one of the best defensive playmakers in the nation, and has 13 tackles for a loss and seven quarterback hurries this year.
Two things at stake
The Seminoles enter the weekend ranked second in the BCS standings, but with No. 3 Oregon’s schedule featuring stronger opposition down the stretch, FSU is going to need style points to maintain its edge. In order to stay in the national title hunt, Florida State has to keep winning big in every game.
A win for Wake Forest would be one of the biggest in the program’s history, and would leave the team just one win short of bowl eligibility with two left to play.
