The LSU Tigers have found their new offensive coordinator, and as expected it’s former Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron. The announcement will come on Friday, reports an LSU spokesman.

LSU Tigers have hired offensive coordinator Cam Cameron as expected.


Cameron got the axe in early December from the Ravens, who then went on to win the 2013 Super Bowl against the 49ers. Cameron had been the offensive coordinator for Baltimore for five seasons starting in 2008. Cameron has also served as head coach of the Miami Dolphins for a season, winning a total of one game during that time.
Cameron replaces Greg Studrawa as offensive coordinator. Studrawa will remain on staff to coach the offensive line for LSU. Steve Kragthorpe had to resign from the coordinator position and only coach quarterbacks in 2011 due to Parkinson's disease, leaving Studrawa with the job. Despite excellent talent on the offensive side of the football, LSU's offense has struggled. Their passing offense was one of the worst in the country last season and near the bottom of the SEC
