The California Golden Bears football team's spring game kicks off at 7 p.m. ET. Just two hours and four minutes before, just a few miles south in San Jose, the Cal men's basketball team tries to punch its ticket to the Sweet 16 in the 2013 NCAA Tournament. Head coach Sonny Dykes was not pleased with this, per Scout's Dan Greenspan, but because the game is being televised, there's not a whole heck of a lot he can do.
2013 Cal football spring game TV schedule
The spring practice schedule for the California Golden Bears concludes Saturday with their spring game.

For Golden Bears fans hoping to get in a little football before the basketball game — or fans of rival teams looking to do some scouting — the spring game should provide an interesting look at some competitions. Top of the list is the quarterback competition between Jared Goff and Zach Kline. California Golden Blogs has a great recap of all the information on that battle.
For the most part, the most important thing for Cal fans will be avoiding more injuries. Dykes has changed up the scoring system because the depth has become such an issue after all the injuries.
Spring game info: 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m ET, Memorial Stadium, Pac-12 Network.
