The Ohio State Buckeyes have plenty of important banners on their wall, claiming 36 conference titles and seven national championships in one way or another. They’re all hanging in the Woody Hayes Center, prominently displaying the best Ohio State football has had to offer.
Ohio State undefeated season banner unveiled
Ohio State’s existential 2012 campaign reached its culmination with the revealing of its new banner honoring its 12-0 season.

But they reached a new milestone this season.

Not anyone can reveal the “undefeated season banner”. An undefeated season usually you means you’re a champion of something or won something important, so that ends up being the top accolade.
But Ohio State didn’t win anything important. They just won all their games then went home and ate fruitcake with their moms. This banner of melancholia belongs to you eternally, Buckeye Nation.
