Which players are generating the most Heisman buzz on Twitter? The sports marketing professors at Emory University are tracking that data for some of the leading contenders, and so far they've found that Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel is dominating the discussion, which is not surprising. But it could mean good news for South Carolina's Jadeveon Clowney and Alabama's AJ McCarron, who rank higher here than they do in Vegas odds.

Otherwise, the Twitter buzz thus far looks similar to the current Heisman odds -- the top five in buzz are also among the top six favorites to win college football’s top honor.
Manziel won the Heisman as a freshman a season ago and is understandably way out in front of the pack in terms of buzz. He’s been a hot offseason topic in general, for reasons legitimate and ridiculous.
