Seven-year-old cancer survivor Jack Hoffman won the award for "Best Moment" at the 2013 ESPY Awards Wednesday night. Hoffman, who has become a friend of Nebraska running back Rex Burkhead and the rest of the team, earned the award with a 69-yard touchdown run in the Nebraska spring game:
Jack Hoffman had a big ESPY Awards night
The young cancer-survivor-turned-running-back took home an ESPY and met with stars on the red carpet.

But Hoffman's night wasn't limited to picking up awards on national television. He and his dad walked the red carpet, at one point meeting with fellow nominee Jadeveon Clowney:

The meeting went slightly better than the last time Clowney collided unexpectedly with a Big Ten running back.
Nebraska quarterback Taylor Martinez, who guided Jack across the line of scrimmage during his run, also posted a number of pictures taken with Jack at the ESPY Awards.
Jack, who has been fighting brain cancer, announced his last chemotherapy treatment to a full crowd at the College World Series in Omaha a month ago.
