Hawaii fires offensive coordinator Aaron Price on first day of practice
Head coach Norm Chow will expand his role after already making a personnel change.

Price joined Hawaii’s staff in February after nine years with the University of Texas at El Paso. He was dismissed from the program for undisclosed reasons on the first day of Warriors’ fall camp. Chow said “some issues have arisen,” according to the Associated Press.
Price also served as the team’s wide receivers coach, but Chow will oversee that position and the offense in his absence. Graduate assistants will be expected to expand their roles within the program.
Chow has a background as an offensive coordinator. He came through the college coaching ranks as an OC before landing Hawaii’s head coaching job.
