Oklahoma State starting left tackle Devin Davis has reportedly suffered a torn ACL and will miss the entire 2013 season. The team has yet to confirm the report, which broke late Monday evening.
Oklahoma State LT Devin Davis reportedly has torn ACL
Just a few days before the start of the 2013 season, Mike Gundy’s offense suffers a big blow.

Davis, a sophomore, appeared in seven games last season while making two starts, including in the team’s season finale with Baylor. He had been expected to anchor an offensive line that lost three of last season’s starters. For a team that will begin the season ranked No. 13 in the AP Poll, the Sooners of coach Mike Gundy will need to solidify the left side of the offensive line quickly in his pass-first offense.
The left tackle position will likely go to Parker Graham, a senior who started primarily at left tackle last season but has since moved to guard, or second-string tackle Michael Wilson. Look for the Cowboys to release an updated depth chart in the coming days.
Oklahoma State opens the season on Saturday afternoon against Mississippi State.
