New Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn is installing his no-huddle system this fall, complete with four-box flash cards. If those cards are any indication, Malzahn has created the greatest play of all time. Via Birmingham reporter Patrick Clayborn:
Auburn has a Rick Ross/Facebook/Iron Man/Kenny Powers play card
Gus Malzahn updates his playcall cards and inadvertently creates the greatest play ever.

That’s a playcard with “Eastbound & Down” lead character Kenny Powers, Iron Man, the Facebook logo and rapper Rick Ross. Presumably, the play requires the quarterback drop back, post a video to his Facebook page, jump hundreds of feet into the air, throw a jump pass, land at his former middle school and accept a job as a substitute teacher, all while the receiver sits in a stretch limousine sipping rosé all alone.
Malzahn has always used memorable images for playcalling, though his reliance on raunchy HBO comedies and hip hop is a significant departure from the signals used by his high school teams.
Auburn opens its 2013 season against Washington State on August 31.
