When the UCLA Bruins take the field this Saturday in Lincoln, Neb., they will be without one member of their football family. Nick Pasquale, a redshirt freshman wide receiver, was struck and killed by a car on Sept. 8. He was 20 years old and a devoted member of the Bruins' scout team.
Nebraska to wear helmet decal for fallen UCLA Bruin
The Cornhuskers will also hold a moment of silence at Memorial game in memory of Nick Pasquale.

To honor the fallen player, the Nebraska Cornhuskers will wear a No. 36 decal on the back of their helmets. The team showcased the decal on its Twitter account on Friday.
There will be a moment of silence to remember Pasquale prior to kickoff. The Bruins will have No. 36 decals attached to their helmets in addition to patches on their uniforms.
Nebraska head coach said earlier in the week that this was, “bigger than any football game.” Earlier in the week, UCLA head coach Jim Mora made headlines after scolding a media member who was talking on his cell phone as the coach discussed the passing of Pasquale.
