Oklahoma defensive back Gabe Lynn was initially ejected for this hit on Tulsa running back Trey Watts, but the call was eventually overturned after a review.
This Oklahoma player’s hit led to overturned ejection
The Sooners looked like they were going to lose Lynn for the rest of the game for a targeting penalty, but his ejection was overturned on review.

Lynn came across the middle and laid what is definitely a hard hit on Watts, but it looked like the hit was shoulder to shoulder, and he definitely did not lead with the helmet. Lynn may still be in the game, but the 15 yard penalty still stood, and Tulsa were able to convert that drive into a touchdown to narrow the score to 10-7 at the end of one quarter in Norman.
