There’s an odd relationship between Michigan and Michigan State these days. Skywriting plane writes ‘GO BLUE’ above Spartan Stadium
The Michigan Wolverines, mind you, are not playing at Spartan Stadium today.
Former Michigan QB Denard Robinson fanned those flames last week when he ranked Michigan's rivals and put Michigan State third, referring to the Spartans as "our little brothers."
Of course, Spartan fans will point out that Robinson’s teams lost three of four games against Michigan State, and they generally believe Michigan’s underselling how important the rivalry is to the maize and blue.
