Apparently you can review a made field goal, as UCLA and Nebraska discovered

This field goal did not go in, but somehow a ref thought it did.

I did not know that you could review a field goal. I thought it was one of the few rulings a football official had that they couldn’t mess up. They dudes stand below the uprights, and look up, and if it goes through them, well, it’s a field goal, and if it doesn’t, well, it isn’t.

In Nebraska-UCLA, we found out that in fact you could review a field goal.

Ka’imi Fairbairn was trying to kick to make the score 21-6 -- the chart said to make it a 15-point game! -- and it looked like he missed wide right:

But the official signaled field goal, for some reason. Bo Pelini noticed that it was not a field goal:

After going up to the booth, the kick was overturned, and the score remained 21-3. UCLA has made it 21-10, since, but it could have been a one-score game if we’d listened to that guy who is bad at looking directly upwards.
