After some initial struggles, Florida State scored touchdowns on six consecutive possessions en route to a 62-7 win over Nevada. FSU racked up 377 rushing yards, and punted just once through three quarters.
Nevada vs. Florida State 2013 final score: Seminoles romp over Wolfpack 62-7
Despite some early offensive problems, the Seminoles ran over the Wolfpack.

A Nevada touchdown pass four minutes into the second quarter gave the Wolf Pack a 7-3 lead. It also apparently woke up the Seminoles. Quarterback Jameis Winston completed a touchdown pass to Kenny Shaw to complete a 92-yard drive and retake the lead. Less than three minutes later, Winston threw another touchdown, this time to Rashad Greene, and the Seminoles held a 17-7 lead at halftime.
In the second half, Florida State picked up where it left off, with Devonta Freeman running for 60 yards on the Seminoles' first play from scrimmage. He cashed in from six yards out on the next play. Karlos Williams added a 65-yard touchdown run on the next series, and the rout was on. FSU added two more touchdowns and a field goal in the third quarter, and scored another two touchdowns in the fourth, to cement the victory.
Box Score Hero: Winston remained incredibly efficient, completing 15 of 18 pass attempts for 214 yards and two touchdowns, but Florida State’s running game made the forward pass irrelevant. Devonta Freeman ran nine times for 109 yards and a score, a 12.1 yards per carry average. Karlos Williams was even better, running for 110 yards on just eight carries.
Rankings Ramifications: Florida State entered the game ranked No. 10, and should maintain its position with this dominant win.
But Did They Cover? The Seminoles came in as a 36-point favorite and covered the spread with ease.
