Georgia Bulldogs kicker Marshall Morgan will remain suspended for Saturday's showdown with the South Carolina Gamecocks, according to head coach Mark Richt on his weekly radio show. Morgan was arrested in late June for boating under the influence after police officers detected alcohol on his breath.

Morgan did not play over the weekend as UGA fell to Clemson. The Dawgs used walk-on Patrick Beless for extra points. Beless went a perfect 5-for-5 on his kicks. Punter Collin Barber handled the kickoff duties. Georgia saw no drop off in average kickoff yardage against the Tigers and did not attempt a field goal.
It is unclear who will handle any field goal opportunities on Saturday. Conventional wisdom would lead one to believe coach Richt would avoid kicking unless the situation absolutely demanded it. More developments may come later in the week as the two kickers continue getting regular reps in practice.
In other news, starting safety Josh Harvey-Clemons is expected to return from his suspension.
