Another week, another game for No. 7 Louisville. With no ranked opponents on the radar this season -- and none that might potentially become ranked -- the task for the Cardinals will be extremely Boise-esque. Like Chris Petersen’s squads of old, Louisville will simply have to beat everybody in front of them, and hope things shake out in its favor for a berth in the BCS Championship Game.

FIU is hoping to get in the way of those BCSCG hopes, but it doesn’t look likely -- the Golden Panthers are 0-3 and were blown out by FCS Bethune-Cookman last weekend.
The numbers
Rankings and records: These two teams are 1-1 against each other, with last year’s game ending 28-21 in favor of the Cardinals.
Vegas: Louisville opened as a 41-point favorite and the over/under opened at 56.5.
Weather: Saturday is projected to be mostly cloudy with a 10 percent chance of rain. High of 80, low of 57.
Three names to know
Teddy Bridgewater (Louisville quarterback) - At this point, Bridgewater isn't an unknown commodity to anyone -- especially after he handily picked apart Florida in the Sugar Bowl last season. Still, Louisville's BCS hopes rest primarily on this man's shoulders. As he goes, so too, do the Cardinals.
DeVante Parker (Louisville wide receiver) - And while everyone knows about Louisville's future NFL first-round pick. Not everyone knows about Parker, who has been the prime beneficiary -- Parker ranks 33rd in the country in receiving yardage and has reeled in four of Bridgewater's 10 touchdowns.
Jake Medlock (Florida International quarterback) - As for FIU's quarterback, well, he's not quite Bridgewater. Medlock has taken the majority of the pass attempts for the Golden Panthers, and the offense has looked positively limp with him at the helm -- Medlock is completing 54.5 percent of his passes for a paltry 5.51 yards per attempt. He's thrown one touchdown through three games.
Two things at stake
FIU would really, really like a win of any kind -- the Panthers have yet to come close to a victory under new head coach Ron Turner, and if it could come against a top-10 opponent, even better. The Panthers have not won since last November, when they defeated Florida Atlantic 34-24.
As mentioned up top, Louisville faces the pressure of winning every game from here on out -- even one loss will likely knock them out of a BCS game.
